Bleeding Heart Watt Pottery

The Watt Pottery Bleeding Heart or American Bud series of Watt Pottery was introduced in the middle 1950s and many different collectors today still label this pottery as the the Tear Drop Watt Pottery pattern.  The Bleeding Heart or Tear Drop Watt Pottery pattern is a very simple but interesting pattern with  deep red drooping flower buds resembling rose buds, light brown stems, and small deep green leaves.  Certain pieces of the Watt Pottery Bleeding Heart pattern are easier to find than other.  Many of the bowls and especially the number 15 pitcher are more of the common finds.
