Many examples of advertising appeared on multiple Watt Pottery pieces.  The advertising of a Companys name and town was stamped in black ink, usually on the front or inside of the pieces.  Sometimes there was also inserted a unique slogan or saying.  Many collectors search for various and unusual examples of advertising or items sold in a specific town or locale.
